Macro Monday
Theme: Onion family
Size: Less than 3x3 inches
I was cutting up onions for cooking when I had this idea.
I picked up a few different shaped cut onions and arranged them in a straight line on a wooden box.
I placed the box near the glass sliding door facing the setting sun and shine an LED torch light at 2 o'clock.
Many thanks for your visit, comments and faves... it is always appreciated..
Peaceful MM
“Families don’t have to match. You don’t have to look like someone else to love them.”
Quote — Leigh Anne Tuohy
Well, here they are, all three of them! I think they are talking about the weather and what they will eat tonight ;-))
The song 'We Are Family' by Sister Sledge, just popped up in my head. Enjoy!

A female Grizzly Bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) and her two young cubs wander the shores looking for some food on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada. This family group was observed during our trip to Glendale Cove off Knight Inlet on a scheduled Grizzly Bear Tour with Tide Rip Grizzly Tours out of Telegraph Cove on the north end of Vancouver Island.

Don't miss the L Y - The last couple of years have been very challenging for all of us indeed. Pandemic, Politics, and Polarizing social media. The wolf in sheeps clothing knows that he must divide in order to conquer. Strong family ties and long friendship binds will be tested..Humanity, humility, hold on to Family, hold on to friends. Love, compassion, understanding, and acceptance is not always easy, but hatred is.

Eleutherococcus senticosus is a species of small, woody shrub in the family Araliaceae native to Northeastern Asia. It may be colloquially called devil's bush, Siberian ginseng, eleuthero, ciwujia, Devil's shrub, shigoka, touch-me-not, wild pepper, or kan jang. Berries from E. senticosus contain diverse polyphenols, including caffeic acid, vanillic acid, ferulic acid, p-coumaric acid, and benzoic acid, with significant content of calcium, magnesium, and potassium.

Dedicated room for our tree and presents.
Our family was sitting by a little river in the park when a mother and her goslings swam over. They perched on a rock which was also positioned closely to my camera. I watched as a sliver of light penetrated through the forest, then positioned for the backlighting that would come.
Three sat atop the rock with Mom while one in the shadows, peers from the side. When one looked toward the fourth in the shadows, a possible title came to mind, "Where's Mikey". However, considering I too was with my family, reflecting on this mirrored the occasion.
Happy Canada Day
Our family looks a lot different this year. We suffered the tragic loss of my sister and her husband when their plane crashed last January. Nine months later we added on my first Greatgrandson. It has been a year of ups and many downs, but we keep going on and God is showing us healing and joy in the midst of our grief. This is us, (minus my two oldest grandkids and their spouses and great grandson) with my parents as we made it through this Christmas together.
