Street photography

It's not street photography unless the photos candid. For a group called hardcore street photography there's a crap load of street portraits that are mislabeled as street photography. Not very hardcore imo.

Most seem pretty candid to me. Maybe rethink your definition of what constitutes "candid".

I love, LOVE the photos at HCSP!!! Some might say they're not the classic street photography.... maybe, but they are candid photos, and they are street photography, with unusual photos capturing unexpected moments, full of life, movement, and emotion! I hope one day I'll manage to have a photo in HCSP.

I'm just thinking street portraits are not street photography. I think it's ironic that photos that are not candid (a central part of street photography) are considered "Hardcore street photography".

Again, they seem for the most part to be candid, so….i dunno, have fun thinking whatever you like I guess.
