Despite modern challenges, they maintain their itinerant way of life, celebrating their heritage through graceful dance movements and colorful attire. The Kalbelia's adaptability and resilience are emblematic of their enduring connection to the desert and their cultural traditions.

Antifa: domestic terrorist organization. It is a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, law enforcement and US system of law.

The Insurance Information Institute (Triple-I) estimated in September 2020 that insured losses from the spring and summer protests could reach $2 billion. This figure covers the collective damage from arson, vandalism, and looting across all incidents and groups.

People's March - Mission District - San Francisco
January 18, 2025

Two days before the inauguration, many thousands hit the streets of the Mission district in San Francisco to say "Somos La Resistencia" - We Are the Resistance.

The People's March organizers joined in solidarity and partnership with the Mission's Dia De Resistencia group to pack the streets of these multi-cultural neighborhoods, led by Aztec Dancers and Immigrant Rights groups.

From the organizers:
"We may have dark days ahead, but we will always work to protect our freedoms, our families, and our communities. We deserve a brighter future and we will continue to work for it.

We are worth fighting for. Our families and futures are worth fighting for."

"This march is part of the PEOPLE'S MARCH nationwide weekend of action before & day of the Presidential inauguration to demand democracy, freedom, justice and compassion for all people everywhere."

More than 3100 people turned out for the No Kings 2.0 Rally in Vero Beach, Florida on October 18th, 2025. One of over 2,700 demonstrations that were held, with at least one protest in every state, and several taking place in other countries in support. This widespread participation highlighted the collective sentiment against fascism and the Trump Administration. Resist!

Veee Man: My understanding is that "Antifa" is an ideology, a movement and a belief system (viz, it's not an organisation with membership). It comes from the German word "anti-fascist" a belief in the opposition to fascism and the right wing.
